I Finally Figured It Out! :-)

Hello, friends.  :-D

How are you all this evening?  Did you have a good day?  Last night, before I went to bed, I noticed that my eyes were really red.  I thought that it was just because I was tired, but when I woke up this morning, it became clear that it was actually…pink eye.  Ugh.  My eyes were so itchy and red, and they felt like they had sand in them.  I went to the doctor and was quarantined to my house (lol) for the remainder of the day, and sent home with some eye drops that instantly calmed my symptoms the moment that clear liquid struck my eyeballs.  Thank goodness.

In my boredom of being at home these past two days, I discovered what is quite possibly my new favorite site.  Well, first I found StumbleUpon which is very fun and has provided quite a few laughs over the past forty-eight hours.  Go set up an account right now — it’s fun!  But the best site that I found is called Kaboodle.  It is a site that I haven’t really explored thoroughly at this point, but I found that it maintains the capability of helping the user create styleboards

First of all, let me just say that if I had known that something like this existed on the worldwide web when I first got engaged, this would have tremendously helped with the overall styling of our wedding.  I mean, it would have been huge.  I would have been able to have all of my looks separate from each other, and all of my ideas separate from each other, but I would have been able to look at the full picture, as well.  I will absolutely be recommending this site to any and all of my friends who are going to be becoming brides in the near or not-so-near future.  It. Is. Pure. AWESOME.

So, that being said, I started with fashion styleboards, just to get me going (fewer accessories than a room styleboard would entail) and I had a ton of fun with that.  Then, I moved on to rooms, or table settings, or kitchens…just anything I could think of.  I used some pictures as inspiration and then ran with it.  Which brings me to this blog: I will be posting both fashion and home-styling styleboards on Kisses and Cake regularly, with a recap of where you can find the things that I use to create these looks.  I hope you will enjoy this as much as I do — I cannot tell you how long I have been looking for a free way to create these boards, and now that I have found a way, I am just ecstatic.  Like, literally jumping up and down and clapping with a deranged smile plastered across my face (yes, that actually happened), ecstatic.

*****

I haven’t done much wedding planning over the past few days.  It is really stressing me out that I haven’t done anything, but it is also stressing me out that I have so much to do!  What a vicious cycle.  So now I am off to plan away and make it fun!  I’m sitting next to my honey on the couch (he’s not scared of getting pink eye, I guess!) and I am off and running!  Have a wonderful rest of your evenings, my dears, and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow!
