Labor Day Weekend
Hi, lovies!
How are you all doing today? I am home sick. I have this giant bug bite on my arm (and one smaller version on my foot) and last night it got extremely swollen — bigger than the size of a baseball! — and I threw up a lot. I’ll spare you all the gory details, but basically I am thinking that I had an allergic reaction to the bite. I finally got to sleep at around five o’clock this morning, for just a couple of hours, and when I woke up, the bite’s size was a bit smaller, and my nausea is becoming less intense, which I am so grateful for. No fun!
What did you all do over the long weekend? I shopped a little bit with my mom for some Fall clothes (which was SO enjoyable!) and went up to Prescott with my mother- and father-in law, and my sister- and brother-in-law (G was stuck at work). We went to a beautiful winery where there was a tasting being held, live music, and peacocks roaming about. Here’s a picture of the one that seemed to love oatmeal cookies and bread!

I loved that I stayed relaxed all weekend. I spent all day yesterday doing laundry, which means I cozied up in my jammies with a hot mug of coffee and just vegged. So much fun. :-)
