Rehearsal, Hair and Makeup, and Groomsman Attire
Helllloooo, my dears! How was your day?
I had a crazy busy work day. I ran around like an insane person for hours and hours, and I still have tons of work to do tomorrow. We all do. It’s the end of the month, so we are all scrambling to get everything finished — I’m pretty sure that tomorrow will be just as busy! But I am ready for it.
Last night I got some planning done. My future mom-in-law has been waiting on me to get back to her about the time of the rehearsal dinner (I am so excited about that dinner — the restaurant is amazing and it should be a really lovely time!) and I heard back from our planner about that time this morning! I am so excited to e-mail Momma Morley and check another item off of my checklist! ;-)
As for hair and makeup, I decided that I would have one of our family friends, Joann, who owns a beautiful salon in Scottsdale do my hair, and have one of my bridesmaids, Avery, do my makeup. I invited all of the girls to get their hair done while I’m getting mine done at the same salon so that we can do some pre-wedding bonding and the like; so far, two girls are in! The decision is totally up to them — if they want to do their own hair, that is no problem and they are more than welcome to pop by the salon while I am getting my hair done that morning to say hi and hang out, if they want, or else I will just see them at the hotel at the decided time — which I don’t know yet! I’m still working on a timeline and while it is a little scary to look at, I know that this is going to really help put my mind at ease once everything is scheduled and on paper.
Groomsman attire. Ugh. My mom and I are going out in search of the groomsmen’s outfit — we have to find it this weekend. I am seriously not leaving that mall until I find it. We’re down to the final minutes for this particular checklist item, and it has to be done now. Once that is done, I will actually be able to sleep at night (haha). No, really.
